• What days do you accept orders?

    We are currently booked for 2023! Check our Instagram for any changes to the schedule for this year! We book out about 4-6 weeks in advance. Same week or next week orders may be subject to a rush fee.

    Due to the high volume of inquiries, your date will not be reserved without a deposit.

  • Cake Tastings

    Cake tasting boxes can be purchased for $60. You will receive 5 flavor combinations from the flavor menu. If you choose to move forward with an upcoming custom cake or wedding cake, a $30 credit will be applied to that invoice.

    We will send an estimate to your email so you can be aware of the total cost upfront. You will have 3 days to view and accept the estimate after your tasting. Once the estimate has expired, the date is open for the next client.

  • Where do I pick up my cake?

    Two Cubs Bakery is located on the East Side of Anchorage.

    Please remember to be respectful of our time and let us know if you’re going to be late as we have other cake customers to meet! We are NOT responsible for any damage that is made to the cake once the cake has left Two Cubs Bakery’s kitchen.

  • How do I store my cake?

    It is very important that your cake is refrigerated if you’re not going to cut into the cake within 2-3 hours. If you are picking up your cake the day prior, just make sure you place the cake in the fridge overnight and remove from fridge about 2-3 hours before your event to allow the cake to come back to room temp. Cold cake is much harder to cut and enjoy than room temp cake is! To enjoy even faster, place single slices in the microwave for 15-20 seconds! Yum!

  • How do I transport my cake?

    Our cakes are made with Swiss meringue buttercream which is very sensitive to heat. If you pick up during winter months, we ask that you try to keep the air on below 70 degrees while the cake is in the vehicle. As long as the cake is level on the base of your vehicle (not the seat) and you drive slow with the air down, you should be good to go! As a friendly reminder: Unfortunately we are not responsible for any damage made to the cake once it has left our kitchen.

  • How do I pay for my order?

    Orders can be paid for by credit or debit through Square. Dates are not confirmed until the deposit has been made through your invoice. The deposits are non-refundable. The remaining of the balance must be paid prior to pick up!

  • Do you offer delivery?

    Absolutely, we deliver for an additional fee.

    Wedding and custom cakes that are three tiers and over do require delivery. Delivery fee depends on the cake size and location.

  • What flavors do you offer?

    Base flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla and Funfetti

    Filling flavors: White chocolate, Milk chocolate, Strawberry, Raspberry, Coconut

    Fancy filling flavors (+$): Cookies and Cream, Biscoff, Reese’s, Lemon/blueberry, Raspberry/lemon, Caramel from Caroline’s Caramels, and Raspberry Coconut.

  • Do you offer gluten free or vegan cakes?

    Unfortunately at this time we do not offer half sweet, gluten free or vegan options.

    Two Cubs Bakery cakes do contain dairy, gluten and possible tree nut and peanut cross contamination.

Ever wonder how to cut a tall cake?

Make sure your cake has come to room temperature for about two hours before cutting. Remove any toys, flowers, or toppers that are not edible. Run your knife under hot water and dry off. Place a cutting board horizontally along the cake and cut about 1/3 of the way in. Slice that section into vertical slices and then horizontally right above the icing layer like #2 and #3 to get the most out of your cake and the best cake-to-buttercream ratio!
